Indie artists image is used to create an artistic feel. The Arctic Monkeys are not known for a change in their image very regularly, this is because they know their audience and understand what their audience enjoy. They may not be major, however, they do have a record label who will help keep their mainstream image.

Budget and production value:
A budget for an Indie artist is usually quite high, they do not have as much money as a major artist, however, they can afford high production videos as they are usually owned by a record label, showing that they also have to pay 90% of profits back to the record label because they funded the video, however, they have more say than major artist as they can create a video that has meaning ad will appeal to their audience.

Synergy and product placement:
On the video, they use different links to the website to where they can buy the album, they also advertise the record label company, which is Domino Recording. They use this to advertise the record label to make more money and profits.

Audience they are appealing to (sizes and types)
An Indie band such as the Arctic Monkeys will want to appeal to teenagers and mainly young adults, this is because they want to appeal to other of their own age, making it look as though, giving off the impression that they are similar to their audience

Strategy used to get attention or to promote:
An Indie artist's purpose is to promote their music as more of an art form, rather than promoting the artist, they will rely on mainly the creativity of their videos, to appeal for their audience, an indie music video director will usually go on to direct other film projects, this is because they will be understood and recognized as a creative director, being able to experiment with ideas to increase audiences in for the video.

Monetisation of outlets:
As they are an Indie Band - it means that they are able to experiment a little bit more with the music videos they create, they can be a little bit more expressive. They will use Youtube to Monitise - and will still make money on Youtube through the views in the video - The same as everyone else - $2 for every thousand views.
